Introduction: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has officially released the exam date notice and notification for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026. Candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching can apply online from March 27, 2026, to April 26, 2026. Application Fee:

• General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 1000/-
• SC / ST: Rs. 500/-
• PH (Divyang): Rs. 300/-
• Payment Mode: Pay the examination fee through SBI I-Collect Fee Mode (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking) or via the SBI E-Challan Fee Mode by submitting the fee at any branch of SBI.

Eligibility Criteria (Primary and Junior Level):

• Available Languages: Hindi, English, Urdu, Sanskrit

1. UPTET Primary Level Eligibility (Classes I to V):

• Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with Passed / Appeared DELED (Final Year) Exam, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 50% Marks / Master’s Degree in any subject with B.Ed Degree (Passed / Appearing), OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 45% Marks / Master’s Degree in any subject with B.Ed Degree (Passed / Appearing) (As per NCTE Norms), OR
• 10+2 Intermediate with 50% Marks and 4-Year B.El.Ed. (Note: Please read the full notification for more detailed eligibility criteria.)

2. UPTET Junior Level Eligibility (Classes VI to VIII):

• Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree with 50% Marks with B.Ed / B.Ed Special Exam Passed / Appearing (Final Year), OR
• Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree with BTC Training 2-Year Exam Passed, OR
• 10+2 Intermediate Exam with 50% Marks and B.LEd 4-Year Course, OR
• 10+2 Inter Exam with 50% Marks and B.Sc.Ed Exam Passed, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 45% Marks / Master’s Degree in any subject with B.Ed Degree (Passed / Appearing) (As per NCTE Norms).

How to Fill the UPTET 2026 Online Form:

1. Apply Online: Eligible candidates can apply between 27/03/2026 and 26/04/2026 on the official UPESSC portal.
